Our Project

Kate and Anthony moved to the Portland area from the south. They loved this original historic farmhouse and wanted southern charm mixed with historic Oregon features. For the inside, Ziebart Constructions’s remodeling contractors remodeled the bathroom and kitchen. The original hexagon tile was replaced with an almost exact match, giving a nod to the original home, but giving it a more modern farmhouse feel. 

The most dramatic part of the remodel was the shower! The Portland remodeling team also remodeled the kitchen to incorporate the modern farmhouse feel. Because they loved Ziebart’s remodeling contractors so much, they hired them a year later to help with the outside of the house. 

On the outside, Kate and Anthony wanted Ziebart’s team to restore the home to its original design. To do that, the contractors rebuilt the porch and added steps and a retaining wall with a drain to improve curb appeal. Now their children have a wonderful yard to play in and enjoy!
