KITCHEN 360˚

At Ziebart Construction we like to have fun. One way we do this is by constantly learning about new tools, products and technologies which have the potential to make our operations more efficient and enhance our clients’ renovation experiences.

Often in renovation projects we are removing walls, moving windows or reconfiguring existing spaces; the impact of those sorts of changes can be hard to imagine when seen on paper. While floorplans, layouts and perspective renders can give a good idea about how the final space will look, putting on a Virtual Reality (VR) headset and ‘looking around’ the room means you no longer have to imagine how the space will feel. You can explore and experience the space at life size.

The extra time it requires to prepare the design with this level of detail is so worth it when you see someone’s reaction when they put on the goggles and see their new kitchen for the first time.

Benefits of the VR Headset:

  • Lets you explore and experience the space at life size
  • Removes the guess work out of design selections.
  • Enables clients to see the full effect of their choices from all angles before making a final decision.
  • Ensures confidence that there won’t be surprises when they see their new kitchen for the first time.

Example:

Even without the VR Headset you can click on the interactive panorama below to get an idea of the "feel" of a Kitchen 360 Design. The client we delivered this to enjoyed seeing their design come to life BEFORE they started the project. It proved to be valuable, as it usually does because it highlighted some final changes that needed to be made.

Virtual Reality for Kitchen Renovations
*Example - a traditional 2D floorpan /layout such as this works well for installation but is limited for interior design purposes.
